UTComp is pleased to welcome VED s.r.l. to our growing network of UltraAnalytix® NDT licensees.
Established in 1970 and based in Italy, VED provides asset inspection and management services as well as composite equipment production (tanks, pipe, structures), maintenance, engineering and technical support, and project management.
“We’re honoured to announce that VED has joined the UTComp family, expanding our reach in Europe and beyond,” said UTComp CEO Jo Anne Watton.
“VED has a long history in working with industrial customers to meet their needs. Adding UltraAnalytix non-destructive testing to their capabilities will allow them to provide superior Fitness-for-Service assessment to their customers.”
The agreement extends the reach of UTComp’s global network of licensees to provide UltraAnalytix inspection services, a non-destructive and non-intrusive method for reliability testing of fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) tanks, pipes and other industrial assets.
UltraAnalytix NDT provides clients with a fast, accurate, safe and cost-effective way to assess corrosion and test the strength and condition of FRP assets to prevent catastrophic failures that endanger public safety and the environment.
“We are excited to collaborate with UTComp and to add UltraAnalytix technology to our services,” said Alberto Blanco, Head of Business Unit CMA at VED Srl.
“Our CMA Business Unit, specializing in the design, production, and on-site repair of composite equipment, can now integrate UltraAnalytix non-destructive testing, allowing us to offer our clients a comprehensive solution for the management and monitoring of their FRP equipment. This ensures accurate and reliable assessments of their condition, reduces downtime, and enhances the safety and efficiency of industrial facilities.”
