About Geoff Clarkson, CTO and Founder of UTComp, Inc.
Geoff Clarkson is an FRP subject matter expert and inventor of the UltraAnalytix® inspection system.
Geoff’s 32+ years of experience led to his successful establishment of ultrasonic testing on composites. He completed his engineering degree at the University of Waterloo, Canada, in 1982, specializing in Systems Design Engineering. Throughout his career he has worked in maintenance and project roles in pulp and paper, mineral processing, water treatment, nuclear energy, and chemical processing. Since 1998 he has worked as an independent engineering consultant and inspector. Geoff is a professional engineer in Ontario, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland. He is also a Member of the Order of Honour of Professional Engineers Ontario and a Fellow of Engineers Canada. He has been awarded the Ernest C. Manning Awards’ David E. Mitchell Award of Distinction.
