Presenter: Geoff Clarkson, UTComp founder and CTO

Geoff Clarkson is the CTO and Founder of UTComp, Inc. He has 32+ years of FRP subject matter expertise that has culminated in the development of validated non-destructive, non-intrusive ultrasonic inspection for composite assets.

Geoff completed his engineering degree at the University of Waterloo, Canada in 1982, specializing in Systems Design Engineering. Throughout his career he has worked in maintenance and project roles in pulp and paper, mineral processing, water treatment, nuclear energy, and chemical processing. Since 1998 he has worked as an independent engineering consultant and inspector. Geoff is a professional engineer in Ontario, Saskatchewan and Newfoundland. Geoff is also a Member of the Order of Honour of Professional Engineers Ontario and a Fellow of Engineers Canada. He has been awarded the Ernest C. Manning Awards’ David E. Mitchell Award of Distinction.
