It is with a heavy heart that UTComp joins with the family and friends of Guy Boudreau to say one last goodbye to our colleague, who passed away on August 13, 2018.
Guy joined the UTComp family in 2010 as our first Engineering Analyst. His first trip to a smelter in Quebec was eye opening for him as he had never worked in this type of industrial environment before and he took to it like a duck to water. He was the first person besides Geoff to be able to collect UltraAnalytix® data and analyze those files.
The customers Guy worked with loved him, as did we all, for his funny, relaxed, positive nature – he was always with a smile. He travelled all over the world with UTComp – including across Canada and the USA and to Jordan and New Caledonia. Everywhere he went, he found something to do to experience the essence of the place – from Mardi Gras in New Orleans to windsurfing in the South Pacific.
We extend our deepest sympathies to Guy’s family and friends. He will be tremendously missed and we will forever remember him.
